What this guide covers

This guide explains how to export the data that powers your dashboard metrics. While the dashboard itself is a summary view, you can export the underlying data through the Reporting module and individual module export features.

The dashboard does not have a direct export button

The dashboard is designed as a quick-reference view, not a report generator. To export the data behind dashboard metrics, you use the related modules.

Exporting revenue data

  1. Click the Revenue KPI card on the dashboard
  2. The Invoices page opens filtered to your date range
  3. Click the Export button in the top-right corner
  4. Choose CSV or PDF format
  5. The file downloads to your computer

Tip: CSV exports open in Excel or Google Sheets for further analysis. PDF exports are formatted for printing or sharing with your accountant.

Exporting job data

  1. Click View All in the Active Jobs table
  2. The Jobs page opens with all active jobs listed
  3. Apply any filters you need (status, date range, team member)
  4. Click the Export button
  5. Choose your format

Exporting from the Reporting module

For the most comprehensive exports, use the Reporting module:

  1. Click Reporting in the sidebar
  2. Select the report type (Revenue, Jobs, Team Performance)
  3. Set your date range and filters
  4. Click Export to download the full report

Note: Reports from the Reporting module include more detail than module-level exports. Revenue reports break down by job type, customer, and team member.
