What this guide covers

This guide explains how to view team performance data from the dashboard. You will learn how to read the Active Jobs table for team workload distribution, use the activity feed to monitor team activity, and where to find detailed team reports.

Team visibility on the dashboard

The Active Jobs table on the dashboard includes an Owner column that shows which team member is assigned to each job. This gives you a quick view of how work is distributed.

Screenshot: Active Jobs table showing five jobs with the Owner column displaying team member names and avatars: "Mike J." (3 jobs), "Sarah L." (1 job), and "Unassigned" (1 job)

Spotting workload imbalances

Scan the Owner column in the Active Jobs table to check for imbalances:

  • One person has too many jobs -- They may be overloaded and at risk of delays
  • One person has no jobs -- They may be underutilized
  • Jobs are unassigned -- Work is not being dispatched

Tip: A quick visual scan of the Owner column tells you more about team balance than any report. If you see the same name repeated on most rows, that person is carrying too much.

Using the activity feed for team monitoring

The activity feed shows events from all team members. You can see:

  • When someone completed a job
  • When someone updated a job status
  • When someone sent a quote or invoice
  • When someone was assigned new work

Animation: Activity feed scrolling with entries attributed to different team members: "Mike completed job #1042", "Sarah updated job #1045 to In Progress", "Liam sent quote #Q-0087 to client"

Team performance in the Reporting module

For detailed team metrics, use the Reporting module:

  1. Click Reporting in the sidebar
  2. Select Team Performance report
  3. Set your date range
  4. View metrics per team member:
Metric What it shows
Jobs completed Number of jobs finished in the period
Revenue generated Total invoice value from their completed jobs
Average completion time Days from scheduled to completed
Current workload Number of active assigned jobs

Screenshot: Team Performance report showing a bar chart with four team members on the x-axis and jobs completed on the y-axis, with Mike at 12, Sarah at 9, Liam at 8, and Chris at 6

Comparing team members

The Reporting module lets you compare team members side by side. Look for:

  • Consistent performers -- Steady completion rates each month
  • Improving performers -- Completion rates trending upward
  • At-risk performers -- Declining completion rates or increasing average completion time

Note: Team performance data is only visible to Owners and Admins. Technicians cannot see their colleagues' performance metrics.

Translating dashboard observations into actions

Dashboard observation Action to take
One person has 8+ active jobs Reassign some work or pause new assignments
Multiple unassigned jobs Dispatcher needs to allocate resources
A team member has no recent activity Check in with them -- they may need support
Average completion time is increasing Review job scope and scheduling practices
