What this guide covers

This guide explains how to search and filter the invoices list in JobsiteOn. You will learn how to find specific invoices, filter by status, sort by columns, and use these tools to manage your accounts receivable efficiently.

  1. Navigate to /invoices.
  2. Click the search bar at the top of the list.
  3. Type a search term. You can search by:
    • Invoice number
    • Contact name
    • Property address
  4. Results update as you type.

Filtering by status

  1. Click the Status filter above the list.
  2. Select one or more statuses:
    • Draft — Invoices not yet sent.
    • Sent — Delivered to the customer.
    • Viewed — Customer has opened the link.
    • Paid — Full payment received.
    • Overdue — Past due date without payment.
    • Voided — Cancelled invoices.
  3. The list updates to show only matching invoices.

Tip: Filter by Overdue at the start of each week to identify invoices that need follow-up.

Sorting the list

Click any column header to sort:

  • Invoice # — Numerical order.
  • Contact — Alphabetical by name.
  • Amount — Highest or lowest total.
  • Due Date — Soonest or furthest due.
  • Status — Grouped by stage.
  • Created — Most recent or oldest first.

Click the same header again to reverse the sort direction.

Combining search and filters

Use search and filters together for targeted lookups:

  1. Filter by Overdue to see past-due invoices.
  2. Sort by Due Date ascending to show the oldest overdue invoices first.
  3. Or search for a specific customer name while the Overdue filter is active.

Best practices

  • Review overdue invoices daily for timely follow-up.
  • Use search for quick lookups when a customer calls about a specific invoice.
  • Sort by amount to prioritize high-value invoices for collection.
  • Bookmark filtered views in your browser for one-click access to common queries.
