Manage Request Status
How to update request status, understand each status stage, and use status filters to manage your request workflow.
What this guide covers
This guide explains the request status workflow in JobsiteOn. You will learn what each status means, when to change it, and how to use status filters to stay organized.
Status stages
Each request moves through these stages:
- New -- just received, not yet reviewed.
- In Review -- someone is evaluating the request.
- Converted -- turned into a job or quote.
- Closed -- resolved without conversion.
Changing status
- Open the request detail page.
- Click the Status dropdown.
- Select the new status.
- The change saves automatically.

When to change status
| From | To | When |
|---|---|---|
| New | In Review | You start reviewing the request |
| In Review | Converted | You convert to a job or quote |
| In Review | Closed | The request will not be converted |
| Closed | New | You need to re-open a closed request |
Using status filters
On the request list, use the status tabs to filter:
- All -- every request.
- New -- unreviewed requests.
- In Review -- actively being handled.
- Converted -- completed conversions.
- Closed -- resolved without action.
Tip: Check the New filter daily. Any requests in the New status have not been reviewed and need attention.
Automatic status changes
Status changes automatically when:
- You click Convert to Job -- status changes to Converted.
- You click Convert to Quote -- status changes to Converted.
All other status changes are manual.
Note: Closing a request does not notify the customer. If you need to inform them, use the communication tools or contact them directly.
