Ask for Reviews After Payment

Configure paid-job review timing, approval, repeat-contact suppression, and the Google review destination.

Configure the request policy

An owner or admin can open Settings → Photo documentation → Review requests.

Turn on Ask for a review when a job is completed and paid. Completion alone never sends a request; the linked invoice must also become paid.

Set the delay in hours after payment. The eligible request remains queued until that time.

Turn on manual approval when an owner or admin should review every request before it sends.

Set a suppression window so a recent request or opt-out prevents repeat contact.

Paste the public HTTPS Google review link customers should receive.

Saving the policy does not retroactively claim that unpaid or incomplete work is eligible.

Evidence and failure states

The payment event and completed Capture work are linked by the invoice’s work-order evidence context. If that relationship, the customer destination, or the public review link is missing, the request stays suppressed or fails safely rather than sending an incomplete message.

Use manual approval for sensitive customer relationships. An opt-out always wins over a queued request, including one whose delay has already elapsed.
