What this guide covers

This guide walks you through the contact detail page in JobsiteOn. You will learn how to navigate the page layout, understand each section, and use the detail page as your central hub for everything related to a single customer.

Accessing the contact detail page

  1. Navigate to /contacts from the left sidebar.
  2. Click any contact row in the list.
  3. You land on the contact detail page at /contacts/[slug].

Page layout overview

The contact detail page is organized into several sections:

The header displays:

Tabs

The detail page uses tabs to organize linked records:

Tab What it shows
Overview Summary of recent activity and key metrics
Jobs All jobs linked to this contact
Quotes All quotes sent to this contact
Invoices All invoices billed to this contact
Properties Properties linked to this contact
Activity Chronological feed of all events
Files Documents and attachments associated with this contact

The Overview tab

The Overview tab provides a snapshot of the contact's relationship with your business:

Each tab (Jobs, Quotes, Invoices, Properties) shows a list of related records:

Tip: Use the contact detail page as your starting point when a customer calls. Everything you need to know about them is in one place.

Quick actions from the detail page

These actions are available from the action buttons or the overflow menu.

Viewing the activity feed

The Activity tab shows a chronological log of every interaction:

Note: The activity feed is read-only. It provides a complete audit trail of your relationship with this customer.
