What this guide covers

This guide explains how to view all jobs linked to a contact in JobsiteOn. You will learn where to find the jobs list, how to filter and navigate it, and how to use this view for customer relationship management.

Accessing the jobs tab

  1. Open the contact detail page at /contacts/[slug].
  2. Click the Jobs tab.
  3. A list of all jobs linked to this contact appears, showing:
    • Job title
    • Status (Pending, In Progress, Completed)
    • Priority
    • Property address
    • Creation date

Screenshot: The Jobs tab on a contact detail page showing eight jobs sorted by date, with a mix of Completed and In Progress statuses.

  • Click any job to open its detail page.
  • The tab badge shows the total count of linked jobs.
  • Use the search bar within the tab to find specific jobs by title or number.
  • Sort by status, date, or priority by clicking column headers.

Understanding the job history

The jobs list tells you:

  • How much work you have done for this customer — The total count of jobs.
  • Current active work — Filter by In Progress to see ongoing projects.
  • Service patterns — Review completed jobs to identify recurring service needs.
  • Customer value — Combine with invoice data to understand the revenue this customer generates.

Tip: Review a customer's job history before a phone call or meeting. It shows you the full context of your relationship with them.

Creating a new job from the contact

  1. On the contact detail page, click the overflow menu (...) or the Create Job button.
  2. A new job form opens with the contact pre-linked.
  3. Add the job details, property, and team assignments.
  4. Save to create the job.

  • Filter by status to quickly see active versus completed work.
  • Look for patterns in completed jobs to identify upsell opportunities.
  • Use the job count as a measure of customer loyalty and engagement.
