What this guide covers

This guide explains how to view all quotes linked to a contact in JobsiteOn. You will learn where to find the quotes list, how to assess proposal history, and how to use this view for sales management.

Accessing the quotes tab

  1. Open the contact detail page at /contacts/[slug].
  2. Click the Quotes tab.
  3. A list of all quotes for this contact appears, showing:
    • Quote number
    • Title or scope
    • Amount
    • Status (Draft, Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Declined)
    • Creation date

Understanding the proposal history

The quotes tab tells you:

  • Total quoted — Sum of all proposal amounts.
  • Acceptance rate — How many quotes this customer has accepted versus declined.
  • Open proposals — Quotes that are Sent or Viewed and awaiting a response.
  • Declined quotes — Proposals that were not accepted, useful for understanding what did not work.

Tip: If a customer has declined multiple quotes, review the declined proposals to understand their pricing or scope concerns before sending the next one.

  • Click any quote to open its detail page.
  • Sort by status, amount, or date by clicking column headers.
  • Use the search bar within the tab to find specific quotes by number or title.
  • The tab badge shows the total count of quotes.

Creating a new quote from the contact

  1. On the contact detail page, click the overflow menu (...) or the Create Quote button.
  2. A new quote form opens with the contact pre-linked.
  3. Add line items, property, and terms.
  4. Save and send when ready.

Best practices

  • Review the quotes tab before creating a new proposal to avoid duplicating existing quotes.
  • Use declined quotes as learning opportunities to refine your pricing and scope.
  • Follow up on Viewed quotes by referencing the specific proposal in your communication.
  • Track your per-customer acceptance rate to tailor your approach for each customer.

Note: The quotes tab includes quotes in all statuses, including Voided and Draft. Filter by status to focus on the quotes most relevant to your current task.
