Stay informed about everything happening across your workspace with the real-time activity feed on the dashboard.
This guide explains how the activity feed on the dashboard works. You will learn what events appear in the feed, how to filter it, and how to use it to stay on top of your team's daily operations without checking every module individually.
The activity feed is in the center section of your dashboard, below the KPI cards and pipeline. It shows a chronological list of recent events.
Screenshot: Activity feed section on the dashboard showing five recent entries: "Sarah completed job #1042 - Water heater install", "Invoice #2087 was paid ($3,200)", "New quote sent to Mike Rodriguez", "Liam assigned to job #1045", and "New request from website contact form"
The activity feed captures events across every module:
| Category | Events shown |
|---|---|
| Jobs | Job created, status changed, assigned, completed, overdue |
| Invoices | Invoice created, sent, viewed by customer, paid, overdue |
| Quotes | Quote created, sent, viewed, accepted, declined |
| Schedule | Event created, rescheduled, cancelled |
| Inbox | New message received, reply sent |
| Team | Member invited, joined, role changed |
| Requests | New request received, converted to job |
Each entry includes:
Animation: A new activity feed entry sliding in at the top of the list with a subtle highlight animation, showing "Invoice #2088 was paid ($1,500)" with the highlight fading after 2 seconds
If the feed is busy, you can filter it to show only the event categories you care about.
Screenshot: Activity feed filter bar showing toggle buttons for each category, with Jobs and Invoices toggled on (highlighted blue) and all others toggled off (gray), showing only job and invoice events in the feed below
Tip: Dispatchers should filter to Jobs and Schedule events. Business owners should keep Invoices and Quotes visible. This reduces noise and highlights what matters to your role.
The activity feed shows events from the current day and the previous day by default. For older events, use the Reporting module or individual module history tabs.
Note: The activity feed shows events from all team members, not just your own actions. This is how you stay informed about what your entire team is doing.
