Inbox Keyboard Shortcuts

This guide lists all keyboard shortcuts available in the JobsiteOn inbox. These shortcuts help you navigate conversations, compose messages, and manage your inbox without reaching for the mouse.
Navigation shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| J | Move to the next conversation in the list |
| K | Move to the previous conversation in the list |
| Enter | Open the selected conversation |
| Esc | Close the current conversation and return to the list |
| G then I | Go to the Inbox view |
| G then A | Go to the Archive folder |
Compose and reply shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| C | Open the compose window to start a new email |
| R | Reply to the current conversation |
| N | Start an internal note on the current conversation |
| Cmd/Ctrl + Enter | Send the current message or note |
| Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Enter | Send and close the conversation |

Conversation management shortcuts

| E | Archive the selected conversation |
| # | Delete the selected conversation |
| S | Snooze the selected conversation |
| A | Assign the selected conversation |
| Shift + I | Mark the selected conversation as read |
| Shift + U | Mark the selected conversation as unread |
Bulk action shortcuts

| X | Toggle selection checkbox on the current conversation |
| Cmd/Ctrl + A | Select all visible conversations |
| Esc | Clear all selections |
Formatting shortcuts (in compose area)

| Cmd/Ctrl + I | Italic |
| Cmd/Ctrl + U | Underline |
| Cmd/Ctrl + K | Insert a link |
Tip: You do not need to memorize every shortcut at once. Start with J, K, C, and R to navigate and reply quickly. Add more shortcuts to your workflow over time.
