What this guide covers

This guide walks you through the process of installing a third-party integration from the marketplace. The steps are similar across all marketplace integrations, with the authorization flow varying by provider.

Before you begin

  • You need Owner or Admin permissions.
  • Have your account credentials ready for the third-party service.
  • Ensure pop-ups are allowed for app.jobsiteon.com in your browser.

Step 1: Find the integration

  1. Go to /settings > Integrations > Browse Marketplace.
  2. Find the integration you want to install.
  3. Click the integration card to open its detail page.

Step 2: Click Install

Click the Install button. A new browser window opens with the third-party service's authorization page.

Step 3: Authorize the connection

  1. Sign in to the third-party service if prompted.
  2. Review the permissions JobsiteOn is requesting.
  3. Click Authorize or Allow to grant access.
  4. The window redirects back to JobsiteOn and closes.

Step 4: Configure the integration

After authorization, you may be prompted to configure initial settings:

  • Sync preferences -- what data syncs and in which direction.
  • Default mappings -- how fields map between systems.
  • Sync schedule -- how often data syncs.

Review the defaults and adjust as needed.

Step 5: Verify the connection

The integration card on the main integrations page updates to show a Connected status with the connection date. Check the sync log for any initial sync results.

Tip: After installing, run an initial test by creating or updating a record in JobsiteOn and verifying it appears in the connected service.

Troubleshooting

The authorization window did not open

Allow pop-ups for app.jobsiteon.com in your browser settings and try again.

Authorization completed but status shows Disconnected

Refresh the integrations page. If the status still shows Disconnected, try clicking Reconnect to re-authorize.

Note: Each workspace can have one connection per integration type. Installing a second connection to the same service replaces the first.
