What this guide covers

This guide explains how to print your schedule or export it as a PDF in JobsiteOn. Printed schedules are useful for crews who work in areas without reliable internet, for posting on a job board in your office, or for sharing a week's plan with a customer.

By the end you will know how to:

  • Open the print-friendly view of the schedule
  • Choose which view (day, week, or month) to print
  • Filter the schedule before printing
  • Save the schedule as a PDF file

Before you begin

  • You need access to the Schedule module in your JobsiteOn workspace
  • A modern web browser that supports print-to-PDF (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox)

Step 1 -- Navigate to the schedule view you want to print

Open the Schedule from the left sidebar and set up the view exactly as you want it to appear on paper:

  • Switch to the desired view (Day, Week, or Month)
  • Navigate to the correct date or date range
  • Apply any team filters if you only want to show specific team members

Tip: Set up the view before opening the print dialog. The printed output reflects exactly what you see on screen, including applied filters.

Step 2 -- Open the print dialog

Click the More menu (three dots) in the schedule header and select Print. A print-friendly version of the calendar opens, removing the dashboard sidebar and navigation chrome.

Step 3 -- Review the print preview

Your browser's print preview dialog appears, showing the schedule in a clean, print-optimized layout. The preview includes:

  • Your company name and logo at the top
  • The date or date range
  • All visible events with their titles, times, and assigned team members
  • Color coding preserved for event types (if printing in color)

Step 4 -- Print or save as PDF

Select your printer from the print dialog and click Print.

Save as PDF

In the print dialog, select Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF on Windows) as the destination. Click Save and choose a location on your computer.

The PDF file can be emailed, uploaded to a shared drive, or printed later.

Note: For the best results, use landscape orientation for week and month views. Day view works well in either portrait or landscape.

Printing a filtered schedule

If you apply a team filter before printing, only that team member's events appear in the printed output. This is useful for giving each crew member their own printed schedule for the day or week.

Troubleshooting

Event text is cut off in the printout

Try switching to a less dense view (day view instead of week view) or reduce the date range. Month view prints with minimal detail per event due to space constraints.

Colors are not printing

Check your printer settings and ensure "Print background colors and images" is enabled in your browser's print options.
