What this guide covers

This guide explains how to request a full export of your personal data from JobsiteOn under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable data protection laws. This is sometimes called a "data subject access request" or DSAR.

Who can make a request

Any individual whose personal data is stored in JobsiteOn can request an export. This includes:

  • Workspace owners and team members.
  • Customers whose contact information is stored by a business using JobsiteOn.

Step 1: Submit a data export request

If you are a workspace user

  1. Go to /settings.
  2. Under the Account group, click Profile.
  3. Scroll to the Your Data section.
  4. Click Request Data Export.

If you are a customer

Contact the business that uses JobsiteOn to manage your data. They can export your information from their workspace, or you can email privacy@jobsiteon.com with your request.

Step 2: Wait for processing

Data export requests are processed within 30 days, as required by GDPR. You will receive an email notification when your export is ready for download.

Step 3: Download your data

Click the download link in the notification email. The export includes:

  • Your account profile information.
  • Activity logs associated with your account.
  • Any personal data stored across workspace records.

The export is provided in JSON and CSV formats in a ZIP file.

What is included

  • Account name, email, phone number.
  • Login history and session data.
  • Activity logs (records you created or modified).
  • Any custom field data associated with your profile.

What is not included

  • Other users' data within the workspace.
  • Aggregated or anonymized analytics data.
  • Data that has already been permanently deleted.

Tip: If you want to export your workspace's business data (contacts, invoices, jobs), use the workspace data export in settings instead. This GDPR export covers only your personal data.

Note: Data export requests are logged for compliance purposes. Each request generates an audit trail entry.
