What this guide covers

Tag orders help your company prepare physical labels for assets, equipment, tools, and field workflows that use scanning.

Plan the order

Before placing an order, decide:

Ordering a small buffer helps avoid delays when a tag is damaged or a new asset is added.

Track order status

Use the tag order record to review:

If the order is delayed, contact support with the tag order number and the company name.

Apply tags

When tags arrive:

  1. Match each tag to the correct asset or equipment record.
  2. Apply the tag to a clean, visible surface.
  3. Scan the tag to confirm it opens the expected record.
  4. Update the asset record if the item moved during tagging.
