AI Foreman helps you work with JobsiteOn data by answering questions, drafting messages, summarizing work, and suggesting next steps. It is an assistant, not an automatic scheduler, dispatcher, estimator, or accounting system.
Use this guide to understand where to start, what information AI Foreman can use, and how to review output before acting on it.
If you do not see AI Foreman, ask an owner or admin to review your role, plan, and AI settings.
Start with focused requests:
The best prompts include the record or workflow you want help with and the format you want back.
AI Foreman keeps recent chat context so short follow-ups like "compare it to last period," "chase the oldest first," or "what are they?" can refer back to the conversation. When current-chat context is not enough, it may use recent AI Foreman chats from the same user, company, and environment.
AI Foreman can accept attached files in the chat composer. Click the paperclip button or drag files from your desktop into the AI Foreman chat pane, including the expanded composer view. Dropped files are added to the upload queue before you send the prompt.
You can attach common work files such as photos, videos, audio clips, PDFs, documents, and spreadsheets. AI Foreman keeps the file metadata in the conversation so follow-up questions can refer to what you attached, but you should still describe what you want reviewed because file contents are not always extracted automatically.
AI Foreman can draft and recommend, but you should review output before you send it to a customer or use it to update a job.
Check:
If the response is wrong or too broad, ask a narrower follow-up question instead of copying it directly.
AI Foreman may use relevant workspace records to produce grounded answers. JobsiteOn also publishes the current subprocessor list and AI data-handling details in the security and privacy collection.

AI usage can be limited by your plan, workspace settings, or weekly provider-cost guardrails. If a request is blocked, try a smaller prompt or ask an owner/admin to review AI usage settings.
