The queue badge shows how many field captures have not reached Capture. Open it to see waiting, uploading, parked, failed, and completed rows. An item older than 24 hours receives a visible stuck warning; it is not silently discarded.
Keep the app installed and do not clear its data while originals remain queued. The local spool is excluded from device backup because it is a transfer queue, not a second cloud archive.
Removing or suspending a team member takes away new Capture access immediately. An upload that had already started and received its server upload session before that change can still send its missing multipart pieces and finish for up to 72 hours. The window does not create a new project, photo record, or upload session.
An item that was only on the phone and had never received a server upload session cannot start after access is removed. It stays parked on that device. Ask a company owner or admin to restore access long enough to transfer it, or contact support before clearing the app.
If the row remains stuck, record its local ID, filename, state, and last error for support.
