Capture Proposal Superseded or Expired
What to do when a signing link points to an older Proposal version or the validity date has passed.
What to do when a signing link points to an older Proposal version or the validity date has passed.
A sent Proposal cannot be edited underneath a customer. If scope or price changes, the sender creates a new version or Amendment. The previous link then identifies itself as superseded and directs the customer to the current document.
The earlier Proposal remains available as history; its status, engagement, and signatures are not copied or erased.
The Proposal validity date is part of the document the customer sees. After that date, signing is disabled. Choose Request an updated proposal on the public page. JobsiteOn records the request, notifies the active creator or company owners, and does not reveal a private staff address.
Requests are throttled so a public link cannot flood the company with messages.
Open the project’s Proposals panel and create an Amendment or updated draft. Review the price visibility mode, scope, evidence, terms, and new validity date before sending. Never reactivate an old link by changing the old document.
