Publish Project Showcases and a Portfolio

Turn approved project photos into a privacy-safe portfolio, gallery or map embed, and reviewed marketing post.

Before you publish

Open Work → Marketing and create the company portfolio. Add the company name, description, service areas, industries, website, and an HTTPS logo URL. Manual setup is always available. With an active Google Business Profile connection, choose its exact location and import the public company name, description, website, service areas, industries, and review Place ID. The import only loads those fields into the form: review them and choose Save portfolio to persist the changes. Capture does not import the street address or coordinates.

Every showcase requires:

Photos remain editable before publishing. Capture suggests ready photos without blur, darkness, or duplicate warnings first, but a person makes the final selection and can change every title, caption, material, and target.

Generate editable draft starts an asynchronous AI job using only the selected project photos and the details you entered. Review and edit every suggested title, description, photo caption, and target caption. The AI draft cannot approve or publish a target.

Protect the homeowner's address

Capture never sends the project's street address, source GPS point, or photo EXIF coordinates to the public portfolio. When you choose to show a project on the map, the public point is stably displaced by at least 75 metres and the label must stay at neighborhood level.

This privacy rule still applies when homeowner consent is recorded. Consent permits the showcase; it does not turn the project record or original photo location into public data. Public media is served from processed derivatives. Required redactions and the company's external-watermark policy are applied before a visitor receives a photo URL.

Publish or schedule a showcase

Choose the portfolio, gallery embed, map embed, or a connected marketing channel for each publication. A scheduled item starts in Awaiting approval. It cannot enter the publishing queue until a person with marketing access approves it.

Each target reports its own state:

Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn availability depends on JobsiteOn's approved provider app and the company's active connection. When direct provider publishing is not certified, Capture creates a manual posting package and keeps the target Held. It does not report a social post as published. Generating that package does not publish the showcase to the hosted portfolio or either embed. Its approved photo links are short-lived and are generated only when an authorized person opens the package; they are not stored in the publishing row. Opening a package first places that target in reconciliation hold. Capture will not issue a second package, retry, or cancel that target until an authorized person records the exact provider result or confirms that nothing was posted.

Each connection is bound to one exact destination: a Google location, Facebook Page and optional Instagram professional account, or LinkedIn person/organization author. Capture does not pick the provider's first account. If a provider times out after delivery may have begun, the item is held for reconciliation instead of being automatically duplicated. Check the exact provider destination, then record either the found external result or a confirmation that nothing was published. Capture reads the provider to confirm a submitted post identifier belongs to the approved destination; a pasted URL alone is not proof. Ordinary Retry is unavailable for an ambiguous result. After an exact connection is safely reconnected, Capture releases only its eligible approved held targets, not posts bound to another destination.

Approval freezes the exact destination, caption, showcase version, selected processed photos, annotations, and export redactions. If any of those change before delivery, Capture returns the target for human reapproval and preserves the prior approval record; it does not silently publish edited or newly unredacted content under the earlier approval. Ordinary copy or branding changes preserve already-published provider posts as historical output. If a published photo is redacted, Capture re-renders the privacy-safe version. If it is deleted, Capture removes it from the public selection. The JobsiteOn portfolio and embeds stay public while at least one selected photo remains; deleting the last publishable photo automatically unpublishes the showcase and alerts its author. In either privacy case, Capture also queues removal of each confirmed provider post that used the changed photo.

Add the portfolio to another website

The Embeds section provides separate snippets for the gallery and the approximate project map. Paste the snippet into a website builder's HTML/embed block. Embeds:

Portfolio and showcase pages live on portfolio.jobsiteon.com, include public search metadata, and use only the privacy-filtered contract. Embed and review pages are excluded from search indexing.

Use a custom portfolio domain

In Portfolio & embeds, enter the exact domain or subdomain, such as projects.example.com, and save it. Capture creates a unique TXT ownership challenge at _jobsiteon-verification.projects.example.com for that company and hostname. Copy the exact TXT name and value shown in Capture, add the remaining displayed routing records at your DNS provider, then choose Check verification. Capture activates the hostname only after both that exact ownership challenge and the portfolio host verification succeed.

The domain stays inactive while DNS is pending or host automation needs operator configuration. After verification, the portfolio host provisions TLS automatically and serves the published portfolio on that hostname. If the hostname is already bound at the portfolio host, Capture keeps it inactive as a provider conflict; saving or checking verification cannot claim that existing binding. Abandon local claim releases only JobsiteOn's reservation and never deletes that provider binding. Remove verified provider binding proceeds only when a fresh lookup finds the exact TXT proof shown in Capture.

An unverified claim expires after 72 hours so an abandoned hostname cannot remain reserved forever. Active hostnames do not expire. If Capture cannot determine whether the provider accepted an add request, it shows Provider add ambiguous and disables configure, verify, remove, and abandon actions until support reconciles the provider result. Do not change the TXT record during that review.

Remove the current domain before configuring a replacement. Capture does not attach the new hostname until removal of the old provider binding is confirmed; an uncertain removal remains visible for support reconciliation instead of risking two companies sharing a hostname. Keep the displayed TXT proof in DNS until Capture confirms removal; when Capture did not definitively create the provider binding, a fresh matching TXT lookup is required before it can safely delete that binding. Removing an owned domain returns visitors to the portfolio.jobsiteon.com URL. Unknown or inactive custom hostnames return no portfolio content. Capture periodically rechecks the exact TXT proof and host binding; removing either makes an active hostname stop routing until its owner verifies it again. A verified custom hostname publishes its own canonical links, robots file, and a sitemap limited to that exact portfolio and its showcases.

Remove a showcase

Use Takedown in Capture, or use the private takedown link supplied when the showcase is created. Takedown immediately stops new portfolio and embed reads, cancels pending JobsiteOn publication jobs, and does not disclose the removed project on the public page. Portfolio and embed image authorization plus page caches expire within five minutes. A separately issued manual provider package can contain image links valid for up to 15 minutes; issuing one already places that target in reconciliation hold as described above.

For a post already published by an external provider, Capture queues provider deletion when the provider supports it. A provider timeout stays Held for reconciliation and is never reported as removed. Instagram and any post without a usable provider identifier show a guided provider link; delete the post there, then choose Confirm removed in Capture.

Collect a review on site

In Work → Marketing → Reviews, create either a whole-business QR or one tied to a project. The full review link and QR image are shown only once, right after you create them, download the PNG or copy the link before leaving the page. Print the generated card and keep only the current version. Regenerating or revoking the QR invalidates the old link. The public form never displays the customer's email address, project address, or a raw visitor network address.
