What this guide covers

This guide lists all keyboard shortcuts available in JobsiteOn. Shortcuts help power users navigate faster, create records without touching the mouse, and manage forms efficiently.

These shortcuts work from any page in JobsiteOn.

Shortcut Action
G then D Go to Dashboard
G then I Go to Inbox
G then S Go to Schedule
G then J Go to Jobs
G then Q Go to Quotes
G then V Go to Invoices
G then C Go to Contacts
G then P Go to Properties
G then T Go to Team

Tip: Press G and then the letter key within one second. If you wait too long, the sequence resets and you need to press G again.

Search and command

Shortcut Action
/ Focus the global search bar

Form shortcuts

When you are inside a form (creating a job, quote, invoice, or contact):

Shortcut Action
Tab Move to the next field
Shift + Tab Move to the previous field
Ctrl + Enter (or Cmd + Enter on Mac) Save and submit the form
Esc Cancel and close the form

Animation: A user pressing Cmd+Enter inside the job creation form, the form submitting, and a success toast appearing with "Job created successfully"

Schedule shortcuts

When viewing the Schedule page:

Shortcut Action
1 Switch to Day view
2 Switch to Week view
3 Switch to Month view
T Jump to Today
Left Arrow Navigate to previous period
Right Arrow Navigate to next period

Screenshot: Schedule calendar in week view with a small keyboard shortcut hint overlay in the bottom-left corner showing "1 Day / 2 Week / 3 Month / T Today"

Tips for learning shortcuts

  • Start with navigation shortcuts (G then D, G then J, etc.) since you use them most
  • Then learn the quick create shortcuts (C then J, C then Q) for daily record creation
  • Use / to search instead of scrolling through lists manually

Note: Keyboard shortcuts are disabled when a text input field is focused, so typing in a form will not accidentally trigger navigation.
