What this guide covers

Every JobsiteOn user has a built-in sending address that works without an external connection. You can also connect Gmail so JobsiteOn can send from that account and keep supported inbox activity in sync.

This guide explains how to:

Open Email & Inbox settings

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Integrations, select Email & Inbox.
  3. On smaller screens, open the Settings menu first, then select Email & Inbox.

Your personal JobsiteOn address appears first. The address is unique to your user inside the current company.

Use your JobsiteOn address

The editable prefix appears before the locked JobsiteOn suffix. To change it:

  1. Edit the prefix using lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens.
  2. Move focus out of the field to save.
  3. Use Copy address when you need the complete address.

The built-in address remains available even if you disconnect every external mailbox.

Connect Gmail

  1. In Connected Mailbox, find Gmail.
  2. Select Connect.
  3. Complete Google's authorization flow.
  4. Return to JobsiteOn and confirm Gmail shows Connected with the expected address.

Direct Gmail connection supports sending through Gmail and the supported two-way inbox synchronization. If authorization expires, reconnect the same account from this section.

Connect Outlook

You can complete the Outlook connection flow from Connected Mailbox. Outlook sending is still marked Coming soon in the sender selector, so connecting Outlook does not yet make it an available send-from choice.

Choose the default sender

Under Send Client Emails From, choose one of the available identities:

The selection is saved to your mailbox, not only to the current browser. When you choose JobsiteOn address, JobsiteOn clears any external default sender and confirms the change. Reloading the page should keep the same selection.

Disconnect an external mailbox

  1. Find the connected provider in Connected Mailbox.
  2. Select Disconnect.
  3. Wait for the confirmation before leaving the page.

Disconnecting removes provider access tokens and stops synchronization while keeping existing JobsiteOn conversation history.

Troubleshooting

The sender did not change

Wait for the confirmation message. If an error appears, retry once. If the error continues, include its visible reference code when contacting support.

Gmail needs to be reconnected

Return to Email & Inbox and use the reconnect action for Gmail. Sign in to the same Google account and approve the requested access.

The connected address is not the one you expected

Disconnect it, then restart the connection and choose the intended provider account during authorization.
