Using JobsiteOn on Mobile
Learn how to use JobsiteOn on your phone or tablet, what differs from desktop, and how to add it to your home screen.
What this guide covers
This guide explains how to use JobsiteOn on a mobile device. You will learn how the interface adapts to smaller screens, what features work differently on mobile, and how to add JobsiteOn to your home screen for quick access. No app download is required.
Accessing JobsiteOn on mobile
Open any modern browser on your phone or tablet and navigate to your workspace URL. JobsiteOn detects your screen size and switches to the mobile-optimized layout automatically.

Navigation on mobile
On desktop, the sidebar is always visible on the left. On mobile, the sidebar is replaced by a bottom navigation bar with the most-used sections.
| Bottom bar item | Links to |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Your KPI overview |
| Schedule | Calendar and events |
| Jobs | Job list and details |
| Inbox | Messages and communication |
| More | All other sections (Quotes, Invoices, Contacts, Properties, Team, Settings) |
Tap More to access the full menu, which slides up from the bottom as an overlay.

Key differences from desktop
Single-column layout
All content stacks vertically on mobile. Tables become scrollable cards, and side-by-side layouts shift to top-and-bottom arrangements.
Touch-friendly interactions
Buttons and tap targets are sized for fingers. Drag-and-drop on the calendar is replaced by tap-to-select, then choose a new time from a picker.
Simplified forms
Job and quote creation forms are broken into steps on mobile rather than showing all fields at once. This makes data entry easier on a small screen.

Tip: Once added to your home screen, JobsiteOn launches instantly without opening Safari or Chrome first. Recommend this to your field technicians for daily use.
What technicians do on mobile
Mobile is where field workers spend most of their time in JobsiteOn:
- View today's jobs -- See assigned work for the day
- Navigate to properties -- Tap an address to open it in Maps
- Update job status -- Mark jobs as In Progress or Completed on site
- Add notes and photos -- Document work directly from the field
- Check the inbox -- Read and respond to customer messages
Offline limitations
JobsiteOn requires an internet connection to load and sync data. If you are in an area with no signal, the app will not load new data. However, pages you have already loaded remain viewable until you navigate away.
Note: We recommend ensuring your field technicians have reliable mobile data coverage for their work areas. If connectivity is spotty, have them check their schedule and job details before heading to remote job sites.
