What this guide covers

This guide explains how to create pricebook bundles. A bundle groups multiple services and parts into a single package that can be added to a quote or invoice in one click.

What is a bundle

A bundle is a pre-configured group of pricebook items. Examples:

  • HVAC Tune-Up Package -- includes inspection, filter replacement, and refrigerant check.
  • Plumbing Starter Kit -- includes two faucet repairs and a drain cleaning.
  • Annual Maintenance Agreement -- includes four quarterly inspections and priority scheduling.

Creating a bundle

  1. Navigate to /pricebook.
  2. Click the Bundles tab.
  3. Click New Bundle.
  4. Enter the Bundle Name and Description.
  5. Add items to the bundle:
    • Click Add Item and search the pricebook.
    • Select a service or part.
    • Set the quantity for each item.
  6. Optionally set a Bundle Price to override the sum of individual item prices.
  7. Click Save.

Using bundles on documents

When creating a quote or invoice:

  1. In the line items section, search for the bundle name.
  2. Select the bundle from the dropdown.
  3. All included items are added as individual line items.
  4. Quantities pre-fill based on the bundle configuration.

Editing a bundle

  1. Open the Bundles tab on /pricebook.
  2. Click the bundle you want to edit.
  3. Add or remove items, change quantities, or update the bundle price.
  4. Click Save.

Changes apply to future use only. Quotes and invoices that already include the bundle's items are not affected.

Bundle pricing

  • Itemized pricing -- each item uses its individual pricebook price. The total is the sum of all items.
  • Bundle price override -- set a single price for the entire bundle, often used to offer a discount for purchasing the package.

Tip: Bundles speed up quoting for common service packages. If your team frequently quotes the same combination of services and parts, create a bundle for it.

Note: Bundles expand into individual line items on documents. The customer sees each service and part separately, not just the bundle name.
