What this guide covers

This guide explains how to find properties quickly using the search bar, filters, and sorting options on the properties list page.

  1. Navigate to /properties.
  2. Click the search bar at the top of the list.
  3. Type any part of the address, city, ZIP code, or linked contact name.
  4. Results update in real time as you type.

The search is case-insensitive and matches partial strings.

Filtering by property type

Click the Type filter dropdown above the list to filter by:

  • All -- show every property.
  • Residential -- homes, apartments, condos.
  • Commercial -- offices, retail, restaurants.
  • Industrial -- warehouses, factories, plants.

Filters combine with the search query, so you can search for a city name and filter to commercial properties at the same time.

Filtering by status

Use the status filter to toggle between:

  • Active -- properties currently in use.
  • Archived -- properties removed from the active list.

Sorting results

Click any column header to sort by that field:

  • Address -- alphabetical by street address.
  • Contact -- alphabetical by primary contact name.
  • Jobs -- by number of linked jobs.
  • Last Service -- by most recent completed job date.
  • Created -- by creation date.

Click the same header again to reverse the sort order.

Tip: Sort by Last Service descending to see properties with the most recent activity at the top. This is useful for identifying active accounts.
