What this guide covers

This guide explains how to use the date range filter that appears on every report page. You will learn about preset ranges, custom date selection, and how the URL updates so you can bookmark or share filtered views.

Step 1: Open the date range selector

On any report page, click the date range button in the top-right corner. A dropdown appears with preset options and a custom range option.

Step 2: Choose a preset range

Select from the following presets:

  • Today -- activity from today only.
  • This Week -- Monday through today.
  • This Month -- first of the month through today.
  • Last Month -- the full previous calendar month.
  • This Quarter -- current fiscal quarter.
  • This Year -- January 1 through today.
  • Last 30 Days -- rolling 30-day window.
  • Last 90 Days -- rolling 90-day window.

All charts, cards, and tables update immediately.

Step 3: Set a custom date range

  1. Click Custom Range at the bottom of the dropdown.
  2. Select a Start Date from the calendar picker.
  3. Select an End Date.
  4. Click Apply.

Sharing filtered views

When you change the date range, the URL updates to include the selected dates as query parameters. Copy the URL to share the exact filtered view with a colleague, or bookmark it for quick access later.

Tip: Use the same preset consistently when comparing periods. For example, always use "This Month" for your monthly review so the comparison is apples-to-apples.
