What this guide covers

This guide shows you how to use the team performance report to evaluate how each team member is performing. You will learn how to read the performance dashboard, compare team members side by side, and use the data to make scheduling and staffing decisions.

Before you begin

  • You need Owner or Admin permissions to view team performance data.
  • Performance metrics are calculated from job assignments and completions. Ensure jobs are assigned to the correct team members for accurate data.

Understanding the performance dashboard

Navigate to /reporting and select the Team tab. The performance dashboard shows a summary row for each team member with key metrics.

Step 1: Review individual metrics

Each team member row displays:

  • Jobs Completed -- total jobs marked as done in the selected period.
  • Revenue Generated -- the sum of invoice amounts tied to their jobs.
  • Avg. Duration -- average time from job start to completion.
  • On-Time Rate -- percentage of jobs completed by the due date.
  • Customer Rating -- average rating from customer feedback forms.

Click any team member's name to drill into their individual detail page with a full breakdown of every job.

Step 2: Compare team members

Use the comparison view to see two or more team members side by side. Check the boxes next to the names you want to compare, then click Compare Selected above the table.

The comparison chart highlights differences in workload distribution and efficiency, helping you spot imbalances.

Step 3: Filter by date range and role

  • Use the Date Range selector to focus on a specific week, month, or quarter.
  • Use the Role dropdown to show only Technicians, only Dispatchers, or all team members.

Step 4: Identify coaching opportunities

Sort the table by On-Time Rate or Avg. Duration to find team members who may benefit from additional training or adjusted workloads.

Tip: Use performance data as a conversation starter, not a judgment tool. Pair metrics with context -- a lower completion rate might reflect harder job assignments rather than poor performance.

Step 5: Export team performance data

Click Export and select Export to CSV to download the table for use in team meetings, reviews, or external HR systems.

Best practices

  • Review monthly. Monthly reviews give enough data to spot trends without micromanaging.
  • Balance workloads. If one person consistently has twice the jobs of another, redistribute from the schedule page.
  • Celebrate high performers. Use the data to recognize team members who consistently exceed targets.

Note: Team performance data is visible only to Owners and Admins. Individual team members cannot see each other's metrics.
