What this guide covers

This guide explains how to print a clean, formatted version of any report page. The print layout removes navigation elements and optimizes charts and tables for paper or PDF output.

Step 1: Prepare the report

  1. Navigate to the report you want to print.
  2. Set the date range and any filters so the report shows the data you need.
  3. Verify the on-screen view looks correct before printing.

Step 2: Open the print dialog

Click the Print button in the top-right area of the report page, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (Mac).

The browser print dialog opens with a preview of the formatted report. The print layout automatically:

  • Removes the sidebar navigation and header.
  • Expands tables to full width.
  • Renders charts in a print-friendly color palette.
  • Adds a header with the report title and date range.

Step 3: Print or save as PDF

  • To print on paper, select your printer and click Print.
  • To save as PDF, select Save as PDF as the destination in the print dialog.

Tip: Saving as PDF is a great way to archive reports or email them to stakeholders who do not have JobsiteOn access.

Best practices

  • Print after filtering. The printout includes only the filtered data, so set your filters first.
  • Use landscape orientation for reports with wide tables.
  • Check the preview before printing to confirm page breaks are in logical places.
