What this guide covers

This guide explains which user roles have access to the reporting module and what actions each role can perform. If you cannot see reports, this guide tells you why and how to request access.

Why Technicians cannot access reports

Technician accounts are scoped to their assigned jobs and related contacts. Reporting data includes revenue, customer details, and team performance across the entire workspace, which falls outside the Technician scope.

How to request access

If you need reporting access and your current role does not permit it:

  1. Contact your workspace Owner or Admin.
  2. Ask them to upgrade your role from /settings > Workspace > Roles.
  3. Once upgraded, sign out and back in to refresh your permissions.

Tip: If you only need occasional access to specific data, ask an Admin to export a CSV and share it with you rather than upgrading your role permanently.
