What this guide covers

This guide explains how to export all of your workspace data from JobsiteOn. You will learn what is included in the export, how to download it, and common uses for the exported files.

Before you begin

  • You need Owner or Admin permissions.
  • Large workspaces may take several minutes to generate an export.

Step 1: Open data export settings

  1. Go to /settings.
  2. Under the Workspace group, click Data.
  3. Click Export All Data.

Step 2: Start the export

Click Export All Data. The system begins generating files for all workspace entities. A progress indicator appears.

Step 3: Download the export

Once the export is ready, a download link appears. The export is a ZIP file containing:

  • contacts.csv -- all contact records.
  • properties.csv -- all property records.
  • jobs.csv -- all job records.
  • quotes.csv -- all quote records.
  • invoices.csv -- all invoice records.
  • payments.csv -- all payment records.
  • files/ -- a folder containing uploaded attachments.

Common uses

  • Backup -- keep an offline copy of your data.
  • Migration -- move data to another platform.
  • Accounting -- share financial data with your accountant.
  • Compliance -- respond to data requests or audits.

Tip: Schedule a quarterly data export as part of your business continuity plan. Store exports in a secure location separate from JobsiteOn.

Previous exports

The data export panel shows a history of past exports with download links. Links expire after 30 days for security.

Note: The export includes all data in your workspace regardless of any filters. For filtered exports, use the CSV export on individual report pages instead.
