What this guide covers

This guide explains how to set your company's business hours and default time zone. These settings affect scheduling availability, team utilization calculations, and automated message timing.

Before you begin

  • You need Owner or Admin permissions.
  • Business hours apply to the entire workspace. Individual team members can have overrides set from their team profile.

Step 1: Open business hours settings

  1. Go to /settings.
  2. Under the Workspace group, click General.
  3. Scroll to the Business Hours section.

Step 2: Set your operating days

Toggle each day on or off. Days toggled off are treated as non-working days and will not appear as available slots in the scheduler.

Step 3: Set start and end times

For each active day, set the Start Time and End Time using the time pickers. These define the window during which jobs can be scheduled.

Step 4: Set the default time zone

In the same General section, find the Default Timezone dropdown. Select the time zone your business operates in. This affects:

  • How dates and times display across the platform.
  • When automated emails and reminders are sent.
  • Date range calculations in reports.

Tip: If your team operates across multiple time zones, set the default to your headquarters time zone. Individual team members can set a personal time zone in their account profile.

Step 5: Save

Click Save to apply the changes. The schedule and reporting modules will immediately reflect the new hours.

How business hours affect the platform

  • Scheduling -- the scheduler only shows slots within business hours.
  • Utilization reports -- available hours are calculated from business hours settings.
  • Automated messages -- reminders are sent within business hours only.

Note: Changing business hours does not affect already-scheduled jobs. It only applies to future scheduling.
