Manage Team Notification Preferences
How to configure email and push notification preferences for team members, set quiet hours, and control notification channels.
What this guide covers
This guide explains how to manage notification preferences for team members. You will learn which notifications are available, how to enable or disable them, and how to set quiet hours.
Notification types
JobsiteOn sends notifications for:
- New job assigned -- when a job is assigned to the member.
- Job updated -- when a job they are assigned to changes.
- Schedule change -- when their schedule is modified.
- New request -- when a request comes in (Admin/Dispatcher only).
- Invoice paid -- when a payment is received (Admin/Owner only).
- Quote accepted -- when a customer accepts a quote.
Configuring notifications
For yourself
- Navigate to
/settings> Notifications. - Toggle each notification type on or off.
- Choose the delivery channel for each:
- Email -- delivered to your sign-in email.
- Push -- browser or mobile push notification.
- Both -- receive on all channels.
- Changes save automatically.

For team members (Admin/Owner)
- Navigate to
/team. - Open the member's profile.
- Click the Notifications tab.
- Configure their preferences.
Note: Team members can also change their own notification preferences from their personal settings. Admin changes do not lock the member out of adjusting their own preferences.
Setting quiet hours
Quiet hours suppress push notifications during non-working hours:
- In notification settings, scroll to Quiet Hours.
- Set the start time and end time.
- Notifications during quiet hours are held and delivered when quiet hours end.
Email notifications are not affected by quiet hours.
Tip: Set quiet hours to match the member's off-duty schedule. This prevents late-night push notifications while ensuring nothing is missed -- held notifications arrive first thing in the morning.
