What this guide covers

Every scan and custody change on an asset is recorded. This guide explains where to find an asset's history and how to read it, so you can answer "who had this, and where has it been?"

Open an asset's history

  1. Go to Equipment (/equipment).
  2. Find the asset and click History.

Check-out / in

Each custody change appears here with:

Scan events

Below custody, you'll see individual scan events — each time the tag was resolved — with the event type and a timestamp.

Note: A new asset shows "No scans or custody events yet" until it's first scanned, checked out, or checked in on a job.
