Comments, Mentions, and Following

Discuss a Capture project or photo, place a comment on an image, mention teammates, and control project notifications.

Add a comment

Open a project or photo and enter a comment. Photo comments can include a pin placed in the original image coordinate space, so the note stays attached to the same location as the image is resized.

Replies are one level deep. This keeps field threads readable on a phone. You can edit your own comment for 15 minutes; afterward the historical wording is preserved. Authors can remove their own comments, and owners or admins can moderate company content.

Mention someone

Type @ and choose an active company member. Capture resolves the mention when you send, rather than trusting typed text as an identity. If the person does not have access to the project, owners and admins receive a prompt to review access.

Follow a project

Following controls notifications, not permission. Follow the projects you want in your Capture bell or digest and mute the ones you do not. An explicit mute is never overwritten by an automatic follow.

For cadence, quiet-hours, and urgent-event rules, see Capture Notifications and Following.
