Jobs Keyboard Shortcuts

What this guide covers

This guide lists the keyboard shortcuts available in the Jobs section of JobsiteOn. These shortcuts help you navigate, create, and manage jobs without reaching for your mouse.

Global navigation shortcuts

These shortcuts work from anywhere in JobsiteOn:

Shortcut	Action
G then J	Go to the jobs list at /jobs
G then N	Go to the new job form at /jobs/new
/	Focus the search bar
Esc	Close the current modal or panel

Jobs list shortcuts

These shortcuts are available when viewing the jobs list at /jobs:

Shortcut	Action
N	Open the new job form
/	Focus the search bar
Up / Down arrows	Navigate between job rows
Enter	Open the selected job detail page
F	Open the filters panel

Job detail page shortcuts

These shortcuts work when viewing a job detail page:

Shortcut	Action
E	Enter edit mode
S	Save changes (when in edit mode)
Esc	Exit edit mode without saving
T	Scroll to the tasks section
A	Scroll to the activity feed

Tip: Press ? on any page to display a keyboard shortcut reference overlay listing all available shortcuts for that view.

Best practices

• Learn the two or three shortcuts you use most frequently before trying to memorize the full list.
• Use G then J to jump to the jobs list from anywhere in the app.
• Use / to search instead of scrolling through long lists.
