What this guide covers

This guide explains how to manage team member profiles in JobsiteOn. You will learn how to view profile details, update contact information, upload profile photos, and keep member records accurate.

Viewing a team member profile

  1. Navigate to /team from the left sidebar.
  2. Click any member row in the Active Members table.
  3. The member profile page opens showing their details.

Profile information

Each profile includes:

Editing a profile

  1. Open the member profile.
  2. Click Edit Profile in the top-right corner.
  3. Update any fields:
    • Name: correct spelling or update a legal name change.
    • Phone: add or change the phone number.
    • Email: update the contact email.
  4. Click Save.

Note: Changing a member's email does not change their sign-in credentials. The sign-in email is managed separately under account settings.

Using Internal Chat on a member profile

Open the Internal Chat tab on a member profile to keep private workspace context attached to that person. Active workspace members can read the feed. Owners, admins, managers, and office staff can add messages.

Messages are saved to the workspace as soon as JobsiteOn confirms the send. If a send fails, the draft stays in the composer so you can retry; an unsaved draft never appears in the conversation as if it succeeded. Older messages load in batches with Load older messages. If the feed cannot be loaded, use Retry internal chat before sending anything new.

Internal Chat is for team-only member context. Use job notes for information that belongs to a specific job, and use Team Chat for broader conversations or direct messages.

Uploading a profile photo

  1. On the profile page, click the photo placeholder or existing photo.
  2. Select an image file (JPEG or PNG, max 5 MB).
  3. The photo uploads and displays immediately.

Profile photos appear on:

Tip: Encourage every team member to upload a profile photo. It makes the schedule and job assignment views easier to scan at a glance.
