What this guide covers
This guide explains how to view the activity log on a property record. The log tracks every change made to the property, providing a complete audit trail.
Accessing the activity log

/properties/[slug]. - Click the Activity tab.
The log displays events in reverse chronological order, with the most recent at the top.

What the log tracks
The activity log records:
- Property created -- who created the record and when.
- Details edited -- which fields were changed and by whom.
- Contact linked -- when a contact was linked or unlinked.
- Job created -- when a new job was dispatched to the property.
- Quote created -- when a new quote was generated.
- Invoice created -- when a new invoice was billed.
- Status changes -- archiving and restoring the property.
- Equipment changes -- when equipment entries were added or removed.
Each entry shows the team member's name, the action taken, and a timestamp.
Using the log for auditing
The activity log is useful for:
- Troubleshooting -- understanding what changed and when if something looks wrong.
- Accountability -- seeing which team member made a specific change.
- Customer disputes -- verifying the timeline of work and changes at a property.
Tip: Check the activity log if a team member reports incorrect information on a property. The log shows exactly what was changed and by whom, making it easy to identify and correct the issue.
Note: Activity log entries cannot be edited or deleted. The log is an immutable record of all changes to the property.
