What this guide covers

This guide explains JobsiteOn's data retention policies, including how long data is kept during and after your subscription, backup retention, and how to request early deletion.

During active subscription

While your subscription is active, all workspace data is retained indefinitely. There is no data retention limit for active workspaces.

This includes:

  • Contacts, properties, jobs, quotes, invoices, and payments.
  • File attachments (photos, documents, logos).
  • Audit logs (retained for 1 year).
  • Sync logs (retained for 90 days).

After subscription cancellation

Period What happens
0-90 days Data retained, workspace is read-only
After 90 days Data permanently deleted from active systems
After 120 days Data purged from backups

During the 90-day retention window:

  • You can sign in and view your data (read-only).
  • You can export your data.
  • You can reactivate your subscription to regain full access.

After account deletion

When you request account deletion:

  • Personal data is deleted within 30 days from active systems.
  • Backup copies are purged within 60 days.

Requesting early deletion

If you need data deleted before the standard retention period:

  1. Email support@jobsiteon.com with your workspace name and deletion request.
  2. The team processes the request within 30 days.
  3. You receive confirmation when deletion is complete.

Data that is always retained

Certain data is retained for legal and compliance purposes regardless of account status:

  • Billing transaction records (7 years for tax compliance).
  • Security incident logs (as required by law).

Tip: Export your data before your subscription expires. After the 90-day retention window, data cannot be recovered.

Note: Data retention policies comply with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable data protection regulations. See our Privacy Policy for full legal details.
