What this guide covers

This guide explains how to request complete deletion of your JobsiteOn account and all associated data. This is an irreversible action, so please read the guide carefully before proceeding.

Before you begin

  • Export any data you want to keep before requesting deletion. See Export Your Data.
  • If you are the workspace Owner, you must transfer ownership or delete the workspace before deleting your account.
  • Deletion cannot be undone after the processing period.

Step 1: Export your data

Before deleting, download a copy of your data:

  1. Go to /settings > Workspace > Data > Export All Data.
  2. Wait for the export to generate.
  3. Download and store the file securely.

Step 2: Request account deletion

  1. Go to /settings > Account > Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account.
  3. Enter your password to confirm your identity.
  4. Click Permanently Delete My Account.

What happens after deletion

  1. Immediate -- your account is deactivated. You are signed out and cannot sign back in.
  2. Within 30 days -- all personal data is permanently deleted from active systems.
  3. Within 60 days -- data is purged from backups.

Workspace impact

  • If you are the Owner, the workspace and all its data will be deleted along with your account. Transfer ownership first if you want the workspace to continue.
  • If you are a team member, your account is removed from the workspace. Records you created (jobs, invoices, etc.) remain but are unassigned.

Cancelling a deletion request

If you change your mind within the first 7 days, contact support@jobsiteon.com to cancel the deletion request. After 7 days, cancellation may not be possible.

Tip: If you just want to stop using JobsiteOn temporarily, consider cancelling your subscription instead. Your data is retained for 90 days after subscription cancellation.

Note: Account deletion is required to comply with GDPR "right to erasure" requests. If you are a customer of a business using JobsiteOn and want your data deleted, contact that business directly.
